Challah for Haiti

The Harvard Haitian Alliance, Harvard Students for Haiti, Chabad, and Hillel bring you CHALLAH FOR HAITI, part of the Hillel for Haiti Benefit Weekend.

"Challah for Haiti" will take place on Thursday, February 18th. Help us knead, braid, and bake loaves of challah in the Chabad kitchen. Knead the dough from 4-5pm, join us for dinner at Hillel from 5-6pm, braid the challah back at Chabad from 6-8pm, and bake it from 8-10pm.

All challah will be sold on Friday, February 19th from 10am-2pm in front of the Science Center, in front of the Hillel building, in the Pforzheimer House dining hall, and at Chabad.

Pre-order your challah at http://hillel.harvard.edu/challah-haiti-pre-order-form and pick it up from 10am-1pm at the locations listed above!

Your money will go to FOKAL, a foundation that supports education and youth civic engagement for Haiti, but also provides aid for earthquake recovery. FOKAL has been doing wonderful work in Haiti for many years, helping the country in the short and long term. FOKAL is run by Michele Pierre-Louis, the former Prime Minister of Haiti (and an IOP scholar-in-residence at Harvard). Read more at http://www.fokal-usa.org

CHALLAH FOR HAITI is part of the Hillel for Haiti Benefit Weekend, which includes a benefit concert (8 pm on Sat Feb 20) and as well a Haitian Themed Dinner (Tue Feb 23).

Any and all are welcome to join us for this incredible event!

Mishmar and Peer Shiur

Mishmar! Now with 50% more OJ! (Math skills FTW!)
At the aforementioned mishmar, Nikki Garcia, the CJL's new librarian, will be chatting with the students about how to run the library more efficiently. Angry emails can be directed to Kerry, kbrodie@princeton.edu.

Peer Shiur! This week taught by Daniel Mark on the meaning of the chosen-ness of the Jewish people. To (probably mis)quote Tevya the milkman, "Couldn't you choose someone else for a change?"
