An Educated Guess Before a Kashrut Leap with Rabbi Stone
Rabbi Avraham Stone, a senior administrator and educator at the Kashrut division of the OU will be giving a presentation from 5:30 to 7 in the Small Dining Room entitled "An Educated Guess Before a Kashrut Leap." In the aftermath of the OU's beginning kashrut supervision of JellyBelly and Tootsie Rolls (bimheirah b'yamenu) we will learn a bit more about what goes into supervising the kashrut of a factory made processed food. Free dinner for upperclassmen and grad students. Try to get your dinner at 5:30 so that we can all be seated and eating promptly at 5:45.

Rabbi Chaim Tabasky Shiur
7:00 PM in Sherman and 8:00 PM in the Beit Midrash
This Wednesday, February 3, Rabbi Chaim Tabasky will be visitng Brandeis to meet students and to give a shiur. Representing Nishmat, an organization that specializes in Torah study for Orthodox women of all ages and levels, Rabbi Tabasky will be available at 7:00 pm in Sherman to talk with students. At 8:00 PM, he will give a shiur in the Beit Midrash on "The Interaction of Divine Providence and Free Will in Ethical Decisions." All are welcome.
