Meet the Kaplowitz Family

Rabbi Elliot Kaplowitz '02, Toby Goldfisher Kaplowitz, and their son Yisrael are psyched to be at Brandeis. They arrived at the 'Deis in August and are having a great time getting the know lots of amazing students at Brandeis.
Rabbi Kaplowitz earned a BA/MA in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis and received semichah, during which time he interened at Congregation Shaarei Tefillah in Newton, MA.
Toby Goldfisher Kaplowitz has a BA in psychology and music from Stern. She also completed Stern's Graduate Program in Advanced Talmudic Studies and has an M.S.Ed. focusing on Jewish education from Bank Street College of Education.
